When you have created a nice website on your local computer, it then needs to be transferred to the Mountbatten Webhosting Server. This manual will explain you how to copy your website onto the server, so the whole world can see your website!

FileZilla is a free, open source FTP client for windows. It supports FTP, SFTP,and FTPS.

Preliminary Steps

Before you can upload any file to your site, you need the following information:

• The name of the web server for your website. In this tutorial we will assume our domain is www.bunifu.com

• Your login username for your User & Email account in ISPconfig.

• Your password for your User & Email account in ISPconfig.

• Note that the username and password in User & Email in ISPconfig is created by the user.

• The directory where you need to place your files so that they can be seen by a web browser visiting your site, our subdirectory is “web”.

• Download FileZilla from the website
