Page 1 of 2 A Forum is a public meeting place for open discussion of various topics on-line. It may also be referred to as a bulletin board or discussion area. We have designed a Forum where everyone (not just our clients) can interact by asking questions and discussing various topics related to creating websites, surfing the Internet, using software from our Downloads section etc. Everybody is free to ask questions or to answer them. We will also be around to answer questions whenever possible.
1.Why would you want to use a Forum? A Forum allows you to ask several questions with hopes of getting different answers which can be compared to get the best out of it. This also gives quiet members another outlet for sharing ideas. Our Forum will enable you to acquire more IT knowledge. A Forum enables international networking, which provides not only information and friendships but invaluable business opportunities. The Forum helps us to generate frequently asked questions which are benefits to all the members.
2.What does it take to use the Forum and how do I get to access the Forum? The Forum is open for every registered member at Mountbatten Hosting Services and it only takes guts and the ability to find out what you want, or share ideas with another's. The Forum can be accessed 24 hours a day. Click on Forum to access it. 3.How do you use the sub- menu in the Forum? There are Four tabs as follows: Home: Here you will access all the different topics for discussion, there are three sub Forums with different subjects. These are Creating Websites, Discuss our Downloads, and the General forum. My Profile: Here you can write about yourself so that other members know who they are talking to. For example: your age, where you are e.t.c. this is optional. Show Latest posts: This will display all the latest posts, the author, date and time when it was posted. To post a question you must be a registered user. Select the topic you would like to ask about and choose post new topic, a dialogue box will be displayed where you will be able to write your question. Help: This is a tool which will enable you to use the Forum efficiently.
